  • Castle San Felipe de Barajas

Stepping into the historic grounds of Castle San Felipe de Barajas is like embarking on a journey through time. Perched majestically atop the hills of Cartagena, Colombia, this formidable fortress stands as a testament to the city's rich colonial past. The imposing stone walls and intricate labyrinth of tunnels evoke a sense of awe, providing a glimpse into the strategic brilliance of its 17th-century builders. • Sunbeam Alpine Update

Having got the Alpine running and stopping again, and transported down to Florida, I am delighted to say that it is going to Tsikuris Classics in a couple of weeks to have some fine tuning work done. The carburetors will be removed and completely rebuilt and at the same time the inlet manifold will be bead-blasted (see pictures for staining) and the exhaust manifolds will be ceramic coated to reduce heat and vapor lock. Other items on the to-do list will be fixing the voltage regulator issue on the fuel and water temp gauges and stopping the exhaust rattle. I will be inquiring about a paint job but I'm not sure the budget will stretch to that this year.
