Our Travel Adventures

We haven't been everywhere, but it's on our list. We have loved all our recent cruise adventures but one of our favorites was the "World Cup" cruise to South America. We watched England lose to France on the big screen on deck 15 and were in Brazil when they lost to Croatia. We were in Argentina when they won the cup and we were in Buenos Aires, with 4 million passionate fans, when the team came home. What an unforgettable experience. Australia and New Zealand were our favorite places to visit so far. Looking forward to what comes next.

Transatlantic 2022

In April 2022 we sailed on Celebrity Edge from Fort Lauderdale to Rome, with stops in Malaga (where we met Alissa, Trahern and baby Brooklyn), Cartagena, and Mallorca. The crossing was very smooth.

Caribbean 2021

This was our "Post COVID" cruise. We wanted to see what the new normal was going to be. The ship was on its fourth voyage since lockdown and you could tell the crew were glad to be back. There were only 750 passengers on board and service was excellent

Australia/New Zealand 2020

We flew into Auckland, NZ to start one of the best itineraries we've ever been on. The highlight was a tour to the movie set, Hobbiton. We toured the Sydney Opera House while other highlights included the Bay of Islands, Christchurch, Dunedin, and the Fjords of NZ.

England 2018

In August 2018, Julie, Sarah, Barrett and I flew into London to spend a couple of weeks touring Oxford, the Lake District, Liverpool and Stratford. The highlight of the trip was a tour of the Harry Potter Studios at Warner Bros, although seeing Lancashire County Cricket Team play in a 20/20 match at Old Trafford was pretty cool..

Ireland 2017

We flew into Dublin where we met Celia and rented a car. We drove to Killarney and set up basecamp in a local B&B. Over the next 10 days we drove over 1200 miles. From Limerick to Mizen Head to Ballylickey to Cork, on some very questionable roads, we toured the entire SW coastline aptly named the Wild Atlantic Way.
