Snow Day 2007

We woke up in the early morning of February 1st 2007 to find thick flakes of snow falling all around Charlotte. It stopped snowing around 9:00AM by which time we had about 4 inches on the ground.

With all the area schools closed for the day it was not long before for all the neighborhood kids hit the street and snowmen started popping up in almost every yard.

But snow soon turned to rain and most of the snow was melted by Saturday. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!
